The armor on this is spectacular, especially the way you've brought the black out a bit from the edges. I think you could keep the yellow if you just aged it a bit with a wash. Ultimately it's your piece. you're the artist and paint to please yourself is my advice.
Looks good indeed, except in the last shot you can see the connection between the 2 halfs didn't line up so well. It unfortunately jumps out quite a bit. Other than that, the armor colors look great. Yellow, well.. I would tone it down if anything. It is too overpowering at the moment and I think that is why all are commenting on it. Blue or Green, and more saturated would be better there.
Can't say I'm a huge fan of the yellow...but wow on the armor bones and flesh tones.
