BLACK ELDARS WIP

Another big Eldar army, this time with many freehand additions and many mangetized weapon options. The whole army in composed of: 15 wraithguards, 2 wraithlords, 1 wraithknight, 3 wave serpents, 1 crimson hunter, 12 jetbikes and two heroes minis.

First off we have 3 squads of wave serpent + 5 wraithguards, each gruop has it's unique emblem painted on. The three symbols are tyranid's head, skull and skeletor hand, all painted as if glowing with mistic blue light. Most of the 3 wave serpents surface is covered in blue flamelike freehands, similar pattern but on a smaller scale was painted on wraithguard's loinclothes. Each of the 15 wraithguards has a choice of weapons magnetized for them: wraithblades, wraithcannon and D-scythe. One wraithlord and wraithknight also have more than one set of magnetized weapons to choose from.
Crimson hunter looks as if it just flashed trough the same blue flames that cover 3 wave serpents, but the main point of this model is the large bone freehand. It's hard to tell what animal could have such bones, but it definitely looks cool on this dark surface.
Freehands on jetbikes were  made mostly with airbrush, same as the cape of Eldrad. Both Eldrad and his female version (Raging Heroes Asharah used here) are level 5 miniatures, I liked painting them in this color scheme.

ORANGE ELDARS #3: Avatar of Khaine

Time for the Avatar of Khaine model! I'm glad that our client choose the Forgeworld version as this model is really well made and kind of full of grace compared to the Finecast model. This guy is all on fire. The deep skin cracks are like a cooling lava, so are the freehands on his arms and legs armor pieces. His head doesn't give out the strong light, so the upper part of hair is in shadow. The headpiece also got some freehands, a bit of an ash pattern. Gems and sword are green to match the army theme, same goes for the goldish bronze addition though here it's more shiny than on the rest of the army.

ORANGE ELDARS #2: The big guys

Here we have the second part of the orange Eldar army: wraithknight, 3 wraithlords and 15 wraithguards. Those guys don't have as much of a blue additions but here you can see more of those green light-like gems, also some lights in a form of spiral freehands painted on wraithlords and wraithguards heads. While working on this army Natalia came up with the idea of a bit different scheme of painting those gem-like armor elements, which seemed to suit eldar theme pretty well. Gems on all the big guys (wraithlords, wraithknight and wraithguards) and bases seem to shine with their own internal light instead of the usual gem effect which is about gem catching the outside light.

The pattern on wraithknight's head was painted using fruit net :P
Wraithknight and wraithlords come with full set of magnetized weapons.

ORANGE ELDARS #1 : The tiny guys + vehicles

Hi there!
As an introduction to our newest eldar army, here we have all the tiny dire avengers, 6 fire dragons two warlocks and 5 wave serpents. This army has an orange theme with beige, blue and green additions. Everything rather light and flashy, with lots of gems and other little details. Those models, detailed and complex as they are, were not easy to paint.

Two warlocks got some simple rune freehands.

The wave serpents with all their edge highlighting look very pleasing. Darek was also fond of the blue glow effect in the pilot's cabins.

Asurmen

Here's the painted version of a mini converted by Kasia some time ago. Helmet is pretty much based on the Forgeworld's Asurmen look. Color scheme is simple and toned down, all in tune to client's request. I had a little extra time here to play with white glazes, I'm still new at it though :P The bloody remains on the base belong to Mephiston, mercilessly massacred due to fatal mistake of having his army opposing to our client's eldars too often :P

Eldar Exodites

What?! Yeah Paulina did rock the world with her skills again. The client asked to have them all different in some way and she managed to keep them in the same color scheme and at the same time make them in a different color scheme. How about that ^^. I really love those Weapons and bases and gems and bone armor on those Jetbikes. And those back rests uuu weeee That is Kasia's doing. The girls do crazy stuff when they work together.

I really like those back rests that Kasia did for those guys. Eldar Exodites aren't done much this days so it's cool to see something original. I can't wait for the end result.
