Don't step on the lava

So I've started painting Salamanders and I'm happy with my results so far. I'm really excited about how it's going to turn out as a whole. For now I've got a dreadnought work in progress photo for you but he's almost done. I still need to add weathering and paint the weapons of course. Anyway you can see the color scheme and get a general feel where I'm going with this project. Comments are welcome as always and if you like what I do, please subscribe or like me on Facebook if you want to show support.

Thanks!

PS: TL-Autocanons or.... ?

Till tomorrow,

  1. That looks really great, the greens are smooth like a baby's tooshie :)
About the arms: power-gaming choice is obvious (2x autos), cool-looking is not. I would go with fist + plasma cannon (you could do some cool OSL from the plasma) :)
Good luck with the project, I look forward to the end of it.

  4. I think you have done a fantastic job on the Salamander Green. Some of the best colour blending (of green) I have seen for a very long time.

    Well done.

  8. Salamanders get free upgrade of all Melta / Flame weapons to Twin Linked with Vulkan Hestan, so I say Multi-Melta Arm and DCCW with Hvy Flamer Arm, that way they have a TL MM and a DCCW with TL Heavy Flamer! Burn.....

    Cheap cost points too
