When I first seen this I when crazy. I love stuff like this really much. The atmosphere that the whole scenery creates is just soo cool. Raven guard Kill team covering ground preparing for the finial assault. Just breathtaking. I really have to give my congratulations for Natalia Paulina and Michael that worked on this diorama. You did awesome guys!
Hi guys! Today I'd like to show you pretty Forgeworld Ferrus Manus model I recently painted. As the whole Iron Hands army he's a part of. Ferrus has really a lot of metallic surfaces. This guy was made to look better than regular soldiers so here we have lots of metallic shades: from light silver to thin black metallic through brownish silvers, browns and golds. You could say that I used almost all the true metallic paints I had at hand :P but In other words I put some effort to make this model entertaining to look at. I also really enjoyed painting his iron hands with few washes used and silver gradually changing to skin color.

3 centurions

Stormraven
FW whirlwind
Razorback
All have lots of decals on them. I'm quite frond of the subtle silver lining on black surfaces. As on infantry the effect of blackmetallic armour was easy to get with somethinnedsilver drybrush,here, with many flat and angular surfaces, lining seemed like the best option. Centurions and Ironclad got some more bronze shades here and there.

We were talking about our new website almost 5 months ago. We didn't expect it will take so much time but we are really proud how it turned out. We won't put it online till we fill it up with galleries, old posts etc.
