The Raptors are going to get ya!

     Those are my favorite on the Nightlord Project. I love the dynamics on them. One guy is backing out, others are springing upwards from their position, one looks like he's landing. And the details on those models are phenomenal for GW models but the Garg wings made them pop.

Nightlord Terminator Lord

     Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. Got a Nightlord Lord for you today. See what I did there "lord lord" hehe. It was lots of fun on this guy. On the conversion part I used many different bits. Banner is from the New Dark Angel Terminator box set and those wings are from a Vampire Counts Winged Lord blister. They are from his little bat-minion. The axe hand is from FW Lord Zhufor. The finishing touch are the cool Bat wings instead of regular spikes with trophies which we often see on Chaos Terminators.

     As far as painting goes I made him glow in the same color as all the lightning effects on him to represent that he is overflowing with destructive electric forces. 

This is the digital image I was inspired by to create the freehand on the Lord's Banner. Not a lot of surface but the bigger the challenge the more fun it is ^^.

Horus the Lunar Wolf

    Hidden from your eyes for a long time, Horus the Lunar Wolf finally comes to the public. This one was a really fun model to build. I really like the winter theme on this guy. He is mounted on a 40mm round base which is removable from the display piece. Hope you like him.  The picture on the left was the inspiration for this project.

Mini for the winner

    Some time ago, actually a long time ago I started a Subscriber Appreciation Contest in which you could win a free commission for a single character mini. I randomly took the name out of the pot and announced the winner.  But the winner didn't claim the prize so I didn't bother with the SAC anymore until he contacted me after several months and asked if he can still claim it.  I said yes, there was no time limit on the claiming.  He told me that he would want a free mini and that he collects Dark Eldar.  So I made him a custom made Archon. Hope he's happy with it .

Nightlord Incarnate

     So many boxes thrown into this project, a major kit bashing. Was going through many different horn sets but after all those trial and error I think that the best look is a bear skull. I did try to make the skull the same as on the NL symbol but in 3D from some angles he looked like he had a crown on his had which wasn't good.

Ave Dominus Nox!

     Deep strike protocol proceeding. When you see them you will shit bricks. I wouldn't want to run into those guys. Ok back to reality. Just need to base them to finish the killer look. My fave guys are the second from the right side. I call him "tyranid slayer" and the shield guy. Oh who am I kidding, the whole five guys kick ass from here to the warp.

    On the project status the marines are getting frozen as we speak. The resin needs to harden f\or 3 days so no display board for you for next few days.  Don't worry I will have some other eye candy for you in upcoming days. I have begin working on the DP and I'm going to start a contest in which you will be able to win a prize. Excited? This project is getting so close to its final destination. I can't wait.
