Getting greener and greener

Morning, yesterday I did some airbrushing on the DA troops. I must say that I don't imagine going back to not using an airbrush  It's such a time saver and the effects that you can produce with an airbrush are just great. So main conclusion: airbrush FTW!

I still have the HQ to do and after that off to painting details. I have to say this army will be something. I always catch myself putting so much heart into those commission projects adding stuff like freehands and saddle conversions like I would be doing them for myself and then the sad day of shipping them out comes. But on the other side I wouldn't be able to do so many miniatures if I would be doing them for myself so I am grateful for what has been happening.

Feed your Imagination and have a great weekend,

  1. Those look great. The air brush is super for basecoats and highlights. I find i have to slow down a bit doing details though so i don't ruin the AB effects, so for now I loose any time i made up on the Air brushing because of the added caution on the back end. I'm sure once i get used to it (and masking with silly putty it will speed up again). What's your last green there? It's a really nice color!

    1. Hey Zab, It's from the new GW pallet "Warpstone Glow" it is my number one choice when painting anything green. I really enjoy using it. It's a very well saturated color.

    2. Wow, it's gorgeous thru the air brush! I use it sparingly, with the brush but seeing this...
